Privacy, in plain English

This page describes what Plane Parade does on your device and what leaves it. The full legal document that governs it is the Vertolini, LLC privacy policy; this page is the game-specific summary of how that policy applies to Plane Parade.

What Plane Parade does not do

No adverts. There is no advertising SDK in the app.
No advertising identifier. On Apple devices, the game never shows an app-tracking permission prompt.
No third-party analytics, attribution or social SDKs.
No account. There is nothing to sign up for and no email address to hand over.
No access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or location.
Your name is never collected by the game.

What stays on your device

Your career progress lives on your device in the app’s own preferences: which shifts you have cleared, the wings and commendations you have earned, your best scores, which upgrades you have bought at each airport, and your settings. None of it is uploaded to us, and deleting the app deletes it.

What the game sends us

Plane Parade sends anonymous gameplay and performance statistics to a server operated by Vertolini, LLC. This is first-party data, used only to tune the game: which shifts people fail, where difficulty spikes, whether an upgrade is ever bought, and whether anything is crashing or running slowly. In practice that means:

App-scoped device identifiers — on Apple devices, the app’s first-party reporting uses Apple’s per-vendor identifier and a separate random identifier generated by the game; on Android, the game generates a random identifier. None is an advertising identifier, tied to your Apple or Google account, or usable to contact you or identify you across other companies’ apps.
Gameplay events — a shift started, a shift finished, the score and result, shop purchases in the in-game currency, and normal app lifecycle events.
Performance and diagnostic data — app version and build, operating-system version and device model, and timing or error information.
Purchase records — whether the Career Pack or Polar Finale is unlocked. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple or Google and never reach us.

All of it is linked to that pseudonymous device identifier rather than to you as a person, and none of it is shared with advertising networks, data brokers or any other third party for tracking. Analytics waits in a bounded on-device queue when delivery fails and retries later; the game always carries on and no gameplay feature depends on delivery.

The level catalogue check

When it has a connection, the game asks our server whether the level tuning has changed since the last time it looked. This is an ordinary web request and it carries no personal information. If it fails, or if you are offline, the game plays the catalogue that shipped inside the app, so nothing about your game depends on it.

Game Center and Play Games

Game Center on Apple devices and Play Games on Android are optional. If you use one, the leaderboard score and achievement progress you submit are handled by Apple or Google under that company’s privacy policy. Plane Parade does not store your platform player identifier or display name on our servers.

Purchases

The Career Pack and Polar Finale are one-time purchases through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google processes the payment and tells the app what you own. We never see your payment card, billing address or store-account details.

Children

Plane Parade is a general-audience game with no chat, no user-generated content, no ads and no way to spend money beyond the two one-time unlocks that pass through the normal App Store or Google Play purchase confirmation.
